About Janine:

Janine_Farm_portrait043 2.jpeg

Janine lives in Columbus Ohio with her life partner of 31 years, two children, faithful dog, independent cat and several hives of bees. Her connection to the earth and environment began in her youth growing up on a small family homestead in southern Indiana where life was honored, exploration was encouraged, food was grown and preserved, time was shared with family, neighbors, friends and animals. The past 25 years she has continued her passion for living in harmony with the earth and with each other through the exploration of restorative practices, conflict resolution, Compassionate Communication, embodied practices of compassion and self care, writing poetry, wildly and abundantly fermenting food, natural and sustainable beekeeping and Urban Zen Integrative Therapy. All things that bring her back into connection with her own being, the earth, the food that nurtures us and the love, compassion and interconnection of life itself.  Each of these passions lead Janine in practical ways to support others in their journey of taking responsibility for the quality and passion of their life.
